The Trillium in Seattle, Washington

Handcrafted from wood, its structure is prism-shaped, it is located at Treehouse Point, and is owned by Pete Nelson. 

A spiral staircase with a wooden handrail leads up to the main entrance. Before arriving, in the middle of the staircase there is a lookout point. The most striking detail is the large windows that cover the two floors of this house, offering panoramic views of the forest and the sensation of floating among the branches.

The treehouse has a living and dining room with a worktop on the first floor and a bedroom upstairs. The Trillium treehouse also offers beautiful views of a nearby pond.

Bird's nest at the Treehotel in Harads, Sweden

If you want the feeling of living high up in a tree like birds do, the Treehotel in Harads, Sweden, is the ideal destination. Its exterior design resembles a giant bird's nest, while the interior is spacious enough for a cosy stay.

This house is 17 square metres, and although it may seem small, it has a living room, two bedrooms and a toilet. Guests climb inside the Bird's Nest via a folding ladder that leads to a hatch in the floor. It is designed to accommodate up to four people at the same time.

Built in the middle of a beautiful pine forest in Swedish Lapland, overlooking the spectacular Lule River, this charred wooden house was designed by the famous Norwegian architectural firm Snøhetta. The structure rises up to ten metres above the ground and is supported by 12 metal pillars.

Kingston Treehouse Hotel in Lion Sands, South Africa

For the end we leave one of our favourites, the Kingston tree house, its wooden structure that rises several metres and once at the top the views are dreamlike. The absence of walls stands out, if we want privacy we have curtains. 

The room has a double bed, two pull-out beds, a full bathroom and a kitchen. We will also, of course, have our own terrace.

It is designed to enjoy the African flora and fauna, so this time we will have to forget about the internet and even the electricity.

This accommodation will only be possible if you book a complete package, it is not possible to stay independently, but if you ever decide to go on safari in South Africa to enjoy the wildlife, this house would be a perfect option.
